Essential Surgical Care is Public Health: Closing The Access Gap
The Association of Surgeons of Uganda (ASOU) organises scientific conferences that brings together all Surgical specialities and associate surgical disciplines including Anaesthesia providers, Pathologists, Radiology, Nurses, Diagnostics & Laboratory, Public health specialists, public and private surgical health sector stakeholders to discuss advances in the provision of surgical care and increase access to surgical services in the country. During this event, clinicians, academicians and researchers present and discuss their work and provides an important channel for the exchange of information that guide surgical care, training and research.

Concise oral presentations will be organised by sub-themes, followed by discussions. In addition to the oral presentations, there will be also poster presentations, round tables, and symposia on various issues.
