2027 Abstract Submission Guidelines

General Guide for submission:

The International Congress for Innovations in Global Surgery (ICIGS 2027) is now calling for abstract submissions from students, trainees, clinicians, researchers, engineers, and innovators worldwide. We invite original research, quality improvement projects, global surgery initiatives, and healthcare innovations that advance sustainable and equitable surgical care.

Authors are encouraged to submit work showcasing novel technologies, clinical innovations, clinical advancements, education, public health, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Selected abstracts will be presented through oral, poster, and live innovation
showcase sessions at the congress. Submitters may submit abstracts in 2 categories: Short paper sessions and Innovation Showcase sessions.

• Conference Start Date: 23rd March 2027
• Conference End Date: 25th March 2027
• Submission Open Date: 1st July 2026
• Submission Close Date: 30th November, 2026
• Review & approval: 15th October, 2026
