Uganda has enjoyed many accolades as a tourist destination over the years; Uganda was picked by National Geographic as one of Top Travel Destinations in the World, Lonely Planet Award that named Uganda as the best country to Visit, Kidepo Valley National Park rated as the 3rd best park in Africa by CNN Travel, Uganda was crowned the Grand Prix and two times Gold award winner by the International Tourism Film Festival Africa for its film Explore Uganda.
