Fellows
Any person who in the opinion of Council has rendered outstanding service to the Association or contributed in a substantial way towards the achievement of any or all of the objectives of the Association may be conferred honorable membership with approval of the General Assembly.
Membership Fees
A membership subscription shall be payable by registered members of the Association of surgeons of Uganda to provide funds for the carrying out of the work of the Association.

Note: All fees are in Uganda Shillings.
The Association shall maintain a Central Registry for the registration of all categories of members and keep an up to-date register to be presented at every Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Membership
Other Membership Options
Associate Membership
Open to Medicine or Dentistry degree holders registered with the Council, subject to official approval.
Full Membership
Open to those with postgraduate qualifications in Surgery or related fields, registered as a surgeon.
Auxiliary Membership
Open to those with diplomas in surgically related fields, registered by their respective Ugandan councils.
Honorary Membership
Council may recommend honorary membership for individuals whose outstanding service or contributions advance the Association’s objectives.
