Biography

r. Nasser Kakembo is a Lecture at the Department of Surgery of the School of Medicine at Makerere University College of Health Sciences and practices Paediatric Surgery at Mulago National Specialized Hospital where he performs complex surgeries including separation of Siamese twins.

He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and a Master of Medicine in Surgery from Makerere University. He completed a Fellowship of Pediatric Surgery of the College of Surgeons of East Central and Southern Africa. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Kakembo is a Member Board of Trustees of the Islamic Medical Association of Uganda (IMAU). He is a researcher with several publications in peer reviewed journals.
