The Association of Surgeons of Uganda conducts scientific conferences where a theme is selected and members prepare and present scientific publications.
The Association also organizes skills transfer workshops and registrar’s symposiums to teach surgical residents.
The most recent surgical conference was held on Friday 18th March 2022 at Fairway Hotel, Kampala with the theme, “Embracing emergency trends in Surgical Practice”
