Biography

Dr. Anne Shikanda is a Pediatric and Neonatal Surgeon at Mulago National Specialized Hospital.

She completed her undergraduate training at Gulu University, Joined Makerere University for her postgraduate training in General Surgery and the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa for a Fellowship in Pediatrics and Neonatal Surgery.

She also completed Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

She is a recipient of a scholarship by the American College of Surgeons under the COSECSA Women Scholars Program.
